Finding Property in Sevilla Province..

Property:Real-Estate

The province of Sevilla is one of the most popular areas for foreigners to buy property. Whether for a vacation home, rental purposes, or retirement living, there are many lovely towns and villages in the province. With a little research and looking around you’ll certainly find something that strikes your fancy.

Getting To Know The Area

This province features diverse landscapes, including farmland in the eastern sections and wooded hills in the northern sections. There are mostly towns in the eastern farming areas rather than the more common small country villages found other places in Spain. This is a result of a long history of land ownership by just a few wealthy landowners rather than smaller plots owned and farmed by individual farming families.

Travelers who venture to the northern areas will see wooded hills stretching well into the horizon. This section is known as la Sierra Norte and is part of the much larger Sierra Morena hills that straddle several provinces. La Sierra Norte is home to several delightful towns rich in history. For example, Cazalla de la Sierra is where King Philip V often went hunting, while Constantina is known for its castle ruins and spectacular vistas of the surrounding land.
