Region: EL ALTO PALANCIA Population: 1554 Area: Castellón Costa Azahar Jérica, in the Alto Palencia region, gives a very picturesque impression, above all due to its architecture. The Mudejar tower rises elegantly towards the sun, its’ unique style cannot be found anywhere else in the Valencian region. At its feet flows the river Palenica, giving life to its surroundings. The town offers an almost idyllic combination of buildings, arches, fountains and gates. The historic centre has a rich secular inheritance and the location is simply beautiful. Accesses: The main access road to Jérica is the Aragón road, the N-234 motorway, which goes from Sagunto to Burgos. The town also has a railway station and the C-5 line links it with Valencia and Zaragoza.
