If you expect after sales service/support when you come to buy a computer or a car, you could argue that the same support should be offered when you buy a off-plan luxury villa or re-sale apartment on a resort in Spain..
Some resorts do offer a certain level of support with your new home as part of the sales contract. Whether or not an after sales service is packaged by the developer or not, properties acquired through Stonehouse Overseas automatically qualify for our (initially free) after sales service renewable yearly for a small fee - after the initial 'free 6-month period'.
What Does this Property Service Include & How do I access it?
Using our service after you have exchanged contracts on your new villa, town house or apartment means that one of our team will be assigned to your account for a six month period. You will be given a contact number and email-address through which to contact the assigned individual who will be looking after you throughout the time you are either moving in to or setting up your newly acquired home.
It's then up to you as to how and when you should use the service.
Usually, new owners not familiar with the local ammeneties & services will approach us to help them with arranging third party services such as internet connection, satellite TV connection, pool maintenance etc.

Property management
Although Stonehouse stops short of actually managing your rental property for you, we can put you in touch with the best letting agents and Spanish property management agents we have found in this region of Spain (Murcia)..
Furnishing your home
We can contact furniture suppliers and arrange quotes for the wholesale supply of all beds,chairs,tables & wardrobes that might need for a new home. This is especially useful for buyers who haven't got the time to do this themselves and who are looking to rent the property out..
Help with quotes for building and renovation work
We can liaise with the local architects and Murcian builders to help you ascertain the costs of a renovation or building project you may be thinking of taking on.. If it's simply a case of helping you find a good plumber then we can locate one of those to!
Interior designers / cleaning / decorators
If you are buying a re-sale villa or home that has already been lived in for a while. Stonehouse can arrange for a series of competitive redecoration or house cleaning quotes from reputable service companies from the local area. .
Swimming pool maintenance
Again, even finding someone to service you pool can be difficult unless you know the area - as indeed we do. Finding a reliable swimming pool contractor in Spain can be a tricky task unless you have already dealt with many of the pool service companies already. Your account manager will be able to find one for you in no time at all..
Garden maintenance
For those with a lot of greenery and lawns, maintaining gardens might be a concern that we can help you with. The type of contractor we'll offer to you depends on the size of the job at hand. Highly exotic botanicals may require a more qualified outfit as you can imagine, however once we have all the facts, finding you a good gardener shouldn't prove too difficult.
Post Purchase Financial Support
In addition to the practical help with moving in and setting up your new home, Stonehouse Overseas is more than happy to give you continued financial help and advice. If your new home in the sun is mortgaged and you rely on the yearly rental income then we can look at ways of maximising that income for you. If you need to reduce your monthly mortgage payments then we can look at ways of reducing the financial burden or moving your mortgage to a lender offering a lower rate. Just let your after sales account manager know what the situation is and he/she will get one of our financial experts to call you and discuss the problem in more detail.
