| Sierra Nevada in Murcia Spain
Europe's southernmost ski resort is located only two and a half hours’ drive from Mosa Trajectum. It has more hours of sunshine than any other European ski resort. But since most of the slopes face north-east, there’s usually good snow coverage throughout the season (November - May). It’s also one of the few ski resorts in the world where you can enjoy sea views while skiing!
Ȃ Slopes cover an area of 2500 hectares and descend 1300 metres (3282 m. - 2100 m.). The longest run is Pista del Aguila (5.9km).
• 19 ski lifts.
• 22 km of pistes have an artificial snow system to ensure skiable slopes throughout the mountain: 280 Snow Cannons, 2 Gondolas, 12 Chair Lifts, 5 Drag Lifts, 3 Mountain Restaurants, 13 Ski Schools with 300 instructors.
• Snowboard park.
• Off-piste skiing.
At the end of the ski season, you can still enjoy Sierra Nevada's wide range of leisure and sports activities. During the summer, enjoy the very pleasant and mild mountain climate, while admiring all the fabulous scenery, flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem of the Iberian Peninsula.
